Winter, Holidays, and Mellow Times

Wow! We had a long warm summer, followed by a long warm autumn, and now all of a sudden, winter has landed with the fury of a really angry woman!

I actually love winter, but this year it came before the leaves fell off of my aspen trees, so really, I'm not ready!!  However, I don't have big plans for Thanksgiving (a simple vegetarian dinner with my dad) so I plan to settle in for the next few days and do what I love to do.... make jewelry!

I have plenty of food, chocolate, wine and DVD's, so I'm actually glad to have the weather to use as an excuse to stay in and hang out with my little blue budgie (Noodle) without feeling guilty.

Starting this week I will be offering free or discounted shipping in my ArtFire Studio through Cyber Monday, 11/29/2010.  US and Canadian orders will ship USPS First Class for free, and International orders will ship for a nominal $2, USPS First Class International.

I would also like to point out that even though the price of silver has doubled in the past few months, I haven't yet raised the prices on my jewelry. This will have to change, but for now, my prices are still based on $10-15/ounce spot, compared to today's spot price of just under $28.  This is a good deal!
